Educator. Explorer. Storyteller.
I believe that the world is the ultimate classroom, and empathy is the most important lesson we can teach.
With two Master’s degrees from Columbia University and a career spanning eight years in Bronx classrooms, I have dedicated my life to the idea of Global Competence. As a two-time Fulbright Scholar, I’ve seen firsthand how cross-cultural exchange transforms lives—starting with my own. My teaching philosophy is simple: value the student, lead with empathy, and bridge the gap between local communities and global perspectives.
My passport tells the rest of the story. Having traveled to 60 countries and 48 states, I don't just teach geography; I live it. This passion led me to found LexGo Travel Co, where I help others navigate the world with the same curiosity and intentionality I bring to my students.
When I’m not in the classroom or planning a bucket-list itinerary, I am usually writing. From the history lessons I teach in the Bronx to the personal essays in my Substack and the pages of my debut novel, my work is defined by a singular mission: telling stories that bridge the gap between our past and our future.
I live in New York with my Corgi and fiance and am hopefully training for the 2026 NYC Marathon. I’m a firm believer in "extra credit"—in the classroom and in life.
